Michael Jackson Dies

What a classically tragic figure he was. Gifted with way too much talent and living in a world of complete dysfunction, those personal demons overshadowed his immense cultural impact to the entertainment world.Seems history may remember a cartoon character, rather than the man or the music.

That’s too bad.

Though Elvis had a similar demise, he’s finally reached icon status again, minus the few remaining sideshows.

I wonder, can Michael’s legend overcome those child molestation charges and mystery that surrounded his payoffs to the alleged victims?

I hope this sad and pitiful event will serve notice to those who feel they are above the law of the land or think celebrity will cure all ills. I loved the music, but damn it–he kinda blew a good thing.

I suppose its’ time for the blame game now–yes?
